Homelore serves as a sanctum of refuge, safeguard, and sanctuary. It weaves together two facets of profound significance: “Home,” a symbol of shelter, security, and wellbeing, and “Lore,” a repository of veracity, illuminating the untold narratives of the homeless. The Homeless of New York find commemoration as their stories are shared, and pays homage to both the renowned and the nameless souls who have passed on.
Further eastward on the island, a Mortuarium that embraces the virtuous method of Recomposition, harnesses the power of Human Composition, a process that yields a sustainable byproduct that can be returned to loved ones or offered as a contribution back to the very Earth that cradles us all. Homelore and its adjunct Mortuarium stand as beacons of grace, symbolizing the harmonious confluence of human dignity and ecological stewardship.
